EFC (I) Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and governed by the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 6th Floor, VB Capitol Building, Range Hill Road, Opp. Hotel Symphony, Bhoslenagar, Shivajinagar, Pune-411007, Maharashtra (“EFC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operates the corporate website accessible at www.efclimited.in (the “Website”).
This Website Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how EFC collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data obtained through the Website. This Policy applies exclusively to the Website and to the data collected through it. It does not govern data collected through physical visits to our centres, contractual or commercial engagements, or any other offline or non-website channel — each of which may be governed by a separate privacy or data processing notice.
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please discontinue use of the Website.
2. Scope and Application
This Policy applies to all visitors and users of the Website, regardless of the device or browser used to access it. The Website is a static corporate information website that provides details about EFC’s services, business lines, investor relations disclosures, and career opportunities. With the exception of the Careers section (described in Clause 4 below) and the newsletter subscription (described in Clause 5 below), the Website does not invite, solicit, or process personal data from visitors.
For clarity, the following sections of the Website do not collect any personal data:
- Home/ About Us — informational content only
- Business (Managed Office Solutions, Design & Build Turnkey Solutions, Furniture Manufacturing) — informational content only
- Investor Relations — publicly accessible regulatory and corporate governance disclosures; no personal data is collected from visitors
- Contact Us — the Contact page displays our address, contact number, and email address for you to reach us directly; any contact you initiate by phone or email is governed by how we handle correspondence generally, not by a web form data collection process.
3. Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you visit the Website, our web server and any analytics tools we employ may automatically collect certain technical information that does not by itself identify you as an individual. This includes:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address of your device
- Browser type, version, and language settings
- Operating system and device type
- Referring URL (the page from which you arrived at the Website)
- Pages visited on the Website, time and duration of visit, and click-stream data

4. Personal Data Collected — Careers Section
The Careers section of the Website (accessible at www.efclimited.in/career/) is the section through which personal data is actively collected from Website visitors. If you apply for a position listed on the Careers section, you will be asked to submit the following information via the online application form:

- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Current designation/ position
- Curriculum vitae/ résumé (uploaded in the applicable file format)
- Cover message (optional, as entered by the applicant)
4.2 Purpose of Collection
We collect this information solely for the following purposes:
- Evaluating your candidacy for the specific role to which you have applied;
- Contacting you regarding your application, scheduling interviews, and conducting the selection process;
- Maintaining a record of applications received for the applicable role;
- Complying with applicable employment and labour laws in India to the extent relevant at the pre-employment stage.
4.3 Legal Basis for Processing
Processing of your application data is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in identifying and recruiting suitable candidates, and, where applicable, in taking steps at your request prior to entering into an employment contract. We do not process application data on the basis of consent — submitting an application constitutes a voluntary, purposive act by you.
4.4 reCAPTCHA
The Careers application form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated and fraudulent submissions. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information from your device (such as device and application data and the results of integrity checks) to help Google determine whether you are a human or a bot. This processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and not by this Policy. By submitting the application form, you acknowledge that reCAPTCHA processing will occur.
4.5 Retention of Recruitment Data
Personal data submitted through the Careers section will be retained for a period of five (05) years from the date of submission, or until the relevant recruitment process is concluded, whichever is later. If you are selected and join EFC, your data will be transferred to our internal HR records and governed by our employee data privacy notice. If your application is unsuccessful, your data will be securely deleted at the end of the applicable retention period, unless you request its earlier deletion.
5. Newsletter Subscription
The Website footer contains a newsletter subscription field where you may voluntarily provide your email address to receive updates and news from EFC. Subscription is entirely optional and based on your consent. We will use your email address only to send you the newsletter communications you signed up for. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by writing to us at the contact details in Clause 10.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Website is built on WordPress and uses Elementor as its page builder. Accordingly, it employs cookies and similar tracking technologies in the ordinary course of website operation. We use the following categories of cookies:
6.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Website to function correctly. They include session management cookies set by WordPress and security cookies set by our hosting provider. They cannot be disabled without materially affecting the availability of the Website.
6.2 Analytics Cookies

7. Disclosure of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Personal data collected through the Website (i.e., data collected via the Careers section and the newsletter subscription) may be disclosed only in the following limited circumstances:
- Internal HR and recruitment teams of EFC (I) Limited for the purpose of processing your job application
- IT service providers, cloud hosting providers, and email service providers who process data on our behalf under binding data processing agreements
- Courts, regulators, or law enforcement agencies where required by law, court order, or regulatory direction
- Any successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of EFC, subject to the successor being bound by equivalent data protection obligations
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data collected through the Website against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or misuse. The Website is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Access to recruitment data is restricted to authorised HR and recruitment personnel only.

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a material risk to your rights, we will take prompt remedial steps and notify affected individuals and the relevant regulatory authority in accordance with applicable law.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, if you have submitted personal data through the Website (including through the Careers section or the newsletter subscription), you have the following rights:
- Right to Access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: To request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to Erasure: To request deletion of your personal data, subject to any overriding legal retention obligation.

Complaints may be submitted in writing by email. We will acknowledge receipt within 3 (three) working days and endeavour to resolve your complaint within 30 (thirty) days. If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may seek redressal through applicable legal mechanisms, including before the Data Protection Board of India upon its constitution.
11. Third-Party Links
The Website contains links to third-party websites and platforms, including EFC’s social media pages and Google Maps. This Policy does not govern the data practices of those third parties. We have no responsibility for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platforms before interacting with them.
12. Minors
The Website is not directed at and is not intended for individuals below the age of 18 years. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe that a minor has submitted personal data through the Website, please notify our Grievance Officer immediately and we will take prompt steps to delete such data.
13. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Website functionality, applicable law, or data processing practices. Any material changes will be notified by posting a revised Policy on the Website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy that cannot be resolved through the grievance mechanism in Clause 10 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Pune, Maharashtra.
